Information Support Concepts, Inc. Arlington, Texas: ISC has been providing innovative products to the IT professional going on 20 years — the latest addition is not only innovative but has components of “Harry Potter’s” magic.

Up until now, security hardware has been utilized mostly by large companies due to the need for network manager involvement and the cost associated with the systems. Small, medium businesses (SMB’s) simply didn’t have the resources to accomplish the task. Now there is a product, Sentinel IPS, that is affordable and managed 24/7 eliminating the need for time-consuming IT manager monitoring. While internal monitoring is eliminated or minimized, activity reports remain available through Sentinel.

ISC is making available to customers this exciting, new, highly efficient, and affordable intrusion prevention product. Sentinel IPS provides a “cloak of invisibility” protecting from malicious activity, intruders, and attackers. Normal network traffic remains unaffected after the installation of Sentinel equipment. The marauders of the internet are unable to penetrate the “cloak of invisibility” keeping the network safe from hackers and the hoards of intruders and purveyors of malicious activity. The user of the proprietary technology is not inconvenienced in any way. Once the system is in place, the back office operation is handled by the Sentinel support staff. The product is available to SMB’s concerned about security issues on an affordable monthly fee basis eliminating the need for a major capital expenditure.

Kevin Hunt, Sr. VP, Information Support Concepts stated, “We strive to bring our IT customers products that serve them well and make their job easier. We’ve done this over the years with rack mounts, innovative computer furniture and a wide range of quality products. I’m really excited about adding this outstanding state-of-the-art security product to an already outstanding roster of ISC products.”

Information Support Concepts’ agreement to represent Sentinel ISP is with the developer of the product, EcoNet.com Inc., a Dallas based company with a track record in network security. Patents are pending on AP Core Technology and Sentinel ISP. More information is available at www.iscdfw.com

Wildfire’s free, quick-post tool makes it easy for developers to distribute content to Facebook’s 24 million users.

Gigya, the leading provider of social-sharing tools, announced today that Wildfire, a free tool for content Web sites that enables one-click posting to social networks and blogs, is now compatible with the new Facebook Platform, which enables developers to build social applications for Facebook.

By developing a dedicated application on the Facebook platform, Gigya will save content developers and widget providers significant time and resources. With a single click, visitors can post videos, slide shows, music, games or widgets directly to Facebook without ever leaving the content provider’s Web site. In addition to Facebook, Wildfire also enables quick posts to the top 10 social networks, including MySpace, Blogger and Friendster.

“The new Facebook ecosystem is great news for the content and widget market, but the platform itself is complicated,” says Eyal Magen, chief executive officer of Gigya. “By doing the conversion necessary to deliver a seamless Facebook solution, we have answered a pressing need by our partners. They are now able to distribute their content to Facebook’s 24 million users quickly and easily without making modifications to their existing content or widgets.”

To get the Facebook-compatible Wildfire tool, developers can sign up at www.gigya.com/wildfire. With just one line of code, Gigya’s content distribution tool can be up and running in 30 minutes, and is fully customizable. The company also provides an option for Web sites that have already developed a Facebook application.

About Gigya
Gigya develops social-sharing tools that help users distribute content and simplify the sharing process. Wildfire is a free tool that boosts the sharing and posting of website content via social networks & blogs. Without leaving a website, users can one-click post directly into their profile or blog, increasing distribution of content and length of user session. Gigya Wildfire partners include Bolt, Metacafe, Snapvine, pYzam and many others. To learn more about Gigya Wildfire and get started, go to www.gigya.com/wildfire. Gigya is funded by Benchmark Capital and First Round Capital.
