Working through hot folders or printing directly from the Apple or PC workstation, production managers can ROOM (RIP Once Output Many) while effortlessly creating, capturing, and outputting production pages to either a platesetter or imagesetter. Built in pre-flighting catches and automatically fixes problems (i.e. hairlines) while JPEG files printed in separations can be output in CMYK. RGB files can be easily converted to CMYK using preset parameters or filtered out as errors and reported. With WorkMates NEWS, users also have the option of separating spot colors into CMYK or output as spot separations.
