Group Technologies Inc, today announced the launch of a fully hosted version of its powerful GroupWorld.net conferencing software package.

First released in 2004, GroupWorld.net is a powerful web conferencing solution including advanced whiteboard, video and voip conferencing, desktop sharing and session recording/playback. Using a custom-developed virtual machine similar to java but with built-in collaboration functionality, GroupWorld.net allows the rapid development and customisation of real-time, multi-user internet applications, conference rooms and multi-player games.

The new hosted GroupWorld.net service costs $24.99 per month for 10 users and unlimited usage, and allows customers to set up multiple, separate rooms. “Most full-featured web conferencing packages such as WebEx are too expensive for small businesses to consider using.
